Time magazine calls "War Horse," winner of five Tony Awards in 2011, "a landmark theater event." See this story of friendship and courage, told through "inspired puppetry" (San Francisco Chronicle), with this offer for up to 40% off performances at Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

The following seating areas are available for performances, Sept. 24-29, in Vancouver:

  • Balcony Centre, LC & RC 31-34, Balcony L & R 26-33 … $42 (reg. $55-$60)
  • Mezz 34-35, Balcony Centre 21-30, L & R 21-25 ... $49 (reg. $70-$81)
  • Orchestra LC/RC 1-24, Centre 13-24, Dress Circle 1-20 & Mezz 26-33 ... $60 (reg. $81-$92) (Performances Sept 24-26 only)

"War Horse" is the story of a British boy who follows his horse to Europe's battlefields during World War I. The actors in the show are joined by full-scale puppets -- horses created by South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company -- resulting in "a blast of pure theatrical imagination" (Newsday).
