Time magazine calls "War Horse," winner of five Tony Awards in 2011, "a landmark theater event." See this story of friendship and courage, told through "inspired puppetry" (San Francisco Chronicle), with this offer for performances at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

The following seating areas are available for performances, Sept. 10-15, in Calgary:

  • Second Balcony Centre E-H and Left/Right D-H … $42 (reg. $55-$60)
  • First Balcony Terrace, Second Balcony Centre A-D, L/R Centre A-C ... $49 (reg. $70-$81)
  • First Balcony ... $60 (reg. $91-$97) (Performances Sept 10-12 only)

"War Horse" is the story of a British boy who follows his horse to Europe's battlefields during World War I. The actors in the show are joined by full-scale puppets -- horses created by South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company -- resulting in "a blast of pure theatrical imagination" (Newsday).
