The National Post has praised Alberta Ballet artistic director Jean Grand-Maitre for his tributes to Joni Mitchell, Elton John & Sarah McLachlan -- saying "the company’s performance and presence is spectacular." With this exclusive deal, subscribers can catch Grand-Maitre's latest endeavour, "Balletlujah!" an homage to Alberta native k.d. lang, for up to 30% off.

Section C tickets are $36, regularly $49, and Section B tickets are $55, regularly $79, for the following performances:

Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton:

  • Friday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 4 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary:

  • Wednesday, May 8 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 11 at 2 p.m.

The performance was orchestrated by the Alberta Ballet with the help of k.d. lang. The contemporary ballet is set to lang's music and will feature her rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," which she sang at the Vancouver Olympic Games.
