Recently released tickets to screenings at one of the five largest film festivals in North America now cost just $10 per person.

Film buffs and cinephiles can also choose a pack of 12 tickets (two per film) for $99 (regularly $144).

Vancouver International Film Festival, taking place Sept. 26 - Oct. 11, will host close to 550 screenings of more than 340 films from more than 75 countries.

Passes and tickets are valid for all adult tickets, except gala screenings.

Travelzoo Tip: Subscribers can also purchase special-presentation tickets for $3 off by using the code VIFF13TRAVELZOO upon booking.

Note: Under B.C. law, patrons must be age 18 or older and a member of VIFF’s registered non-profit society to attend most films at the festival. The one-time membership fee is $2 and can be purchased on-line when you book your order or when you arrive at the theatre. Please note: entrance to Vancity Theatre and The Rio is usually 19+ because of liquor laws.

Book by Sept. 18.
