For the cost of booking airfare alone, this $999-per-person trip to China includes roundtrip air, a Yangtze River cruise and savings of $1100 on current rates.

This seven-night package includes a cruise along Asia's longest river. Marvel at the Three Gorges Dam and travel the Shennv Stream tributary via smaller boats for an up-close view of the passing scenery. The package from Vacances Sinorama includes:

  • Roundtrip airfare from Vancouver and inter-China flights
    (Add $300 for departures from other major North American cities)
  • Upscale accommodations in Beijing and Chongqing or Wuhan
  • Five nights on the Sinorama Diamond in a deluxe standard cabin with private balcony
  • Three meals a day, admission fees, shore excursions, English-speaking local guides throughout the trip, ground transportation and airport transfers in China, service charges and gratuities (except cruise gratuities of $50 per person)

The upstream itinerary begins in Wuhan, cruises the Yangtze River en-route to Chongqing. An included inter-China flight then transports guests to Beijing.
