Escape with the family to a mountain resort that averages more snowfall than any other Vermont ski area, according to Fodor's, for $265 (US$269) per night.

Save US$160 on current rates at Jay Peak Resort Sundays-Thursdays, Jan. 6 - Feb. 14. This deal includes a one-night stay in a studio suite and ski lift tickets for two adults and two children (age 4-14). For US$50 more per night add unlimited indoor water park access.

Skip the slopes and book a suite with water park passes for two adults and two children (age 4-14) for $217 (US$219) per night.

All packages include complimentary ski or surf lessons for two adults (a US$90 value). Kids' lessons are half off.

Located at the base of Jay Peak mountain, this resort gives guests easy access to more than 77 trails. The resort’s indoor water park features a lazy river, 65-foot slide and surf zone. Other amenities include an on-site spa, an ice arena and an array of dining options and shops.

Note: There is a US$15 daily resort fee that covers towels at the water park, valet parking and Internet.
