All-Business Class Airline Launches Unlimited Flight Pass to Paris for $40,000
La Compagnie, the all business class airline that flies only between New York City (Newark) and Paris, just launched the promotional equivalent of a mic drop: unlimited flights for a year. Dinner in Paris on Monday, Broadway show in New York on Tuesday, a stroll along the Seine on Thursday, bagels by the Brooklyn Bridge on Sunday…you get the picture.
Of course, such jet-setting (and -lag) will not come cheap: You’ll have to spend $40,000 for the all-you-can fly extravaganza. And even if you have that kind of dough—um…pâte—sitting around, you’d need to make at least two trips per month to get any value from the pass.
Not that the concept is entirely new: American Airlines and Jet Blue, among others, have offered their own unlimited passes through the years, and if you’re a beyond frequent traveler, unlimited = deal. (For some, a really great deal.)
Recognizing that fact, La Compagnie is offering only 10 of these ‘L’Unlimited’ passes—and only from September 19 to 22.
So are you a Francophile with $40K burning a hole in your pocket? Or do you simply like to dream big? Read more here, and bon voyage (even if that voyage is virtual).
