The Deal
Visit historical Port Arthur and experience Australia’s convict heritage on a full-day coach tour for only $75 per person. This Gray Line ‘Grand Port Arthur Tour’ including lunch and audio guide would normally cost $155.
Departing from Hobart, the tour begins with a scenic drive along the Tasmanian coastline, taking in pristine Pirates Bay, Eaglehawk Neck and the Tasman Peninsula. You’ll see the highlights of Tasman National Park such as the Tasman Arch and Devil's Kitchen before arriving at the former convict settlement of Port Arthur.
Here, you’ll receive a guided tour with access to the restored buildings and ruins, a visit to the Penitentiary and a cruise on Carnarvon Bay to the Isle of the Dead. Lunch is provided in Port Arthur while the GPS-enabled audio guide will offer a deeper understanding of Australia’s convict past.
Tours depart at 8.15am, returning at 5pm from Sunday to Friday.
