The Deal
For just $75 for two, indulge in a 4-course meal at the award-winning Fix Restaurant & Wine Bar in the recently refurbished Port Office Hotel. Usually worth $150, enjoy a starter to share, two entrees, two mains and two desserts, plus tea or coffee to finish.
Start with organic sourdough bread served with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic to share, then select from the following menu:
Entree (choice of):
-Pan-seared scallops served with green pea puree, maple roasted bacon, hazelnuts and curly endive
-Sticky pork belly served with a king prawn and Asian herb salad
-Tuna sashimi, pickled ginger and wasabi dressing, yozu jelly and micro herbs
Main (choice of):
-400g T-Bone steak served with artichoke, olive and tomato salad
-Moreton Bay bug meat with fresh pappardelle, chilli, garlic and tarragon butter
-Fresh market fish served with seafood medley in kaffir lime and vanilla broth
Dessert (Choice of):
-Vanilla creme brulee served with espresso ice cream and waffle cone
-Dark chocolate fondant with mandarin ice cream
-Cheese selection including cheddar, blue, washed rind and brie
