The Deal

For just $99, indulge in a gourmet meal for two at Papa Goose Restaurant and Bar in Flinders Lane that would regularly cost $200.

The deal comes with two entrees, two mains and two desserts, plus a side, amuse bouche and tea or coffee with petit fours.

Entrée (choice of):
-Char grilled sardines, red cabbage, pine nuts, raisins, parsley, pomegranate
-Twice cooked quail, puy lentils, radicchio, pear, pomegranate
-Buffalo mozzarella, baby caponata, sherry vinegar, basil

Main (choice of):
-Pan roast wild Barramundi, pine mushroom, cauliflower, cracked wheat, roasted chicken and thyme reduction   
-Roasted Dorper lamb, kidney, pumpkin, peas, dates, seeds, mint  
-Grilled Rangers Valley Porterhouse, spinach puree, caramelised petit onion, watercress, Armagnac, bone marrow    
-Pan fried potato gnocchi, wild mushroom, chestnut onion veloute, thyme, truffle oil  
-Plus a choice of one side to accompany the main course

Papa Goose opened late last year and is headed up by chef Neale White, who has worked with Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing at London's Aubergine. More recently he lifted Melbourne’s Pure South restaurant to hatted status in The Age's Good Food Guide.
