How do I unsubscribe from Travelzoo emails?

Log into My Account and go to ‘My Subscriptions’, then select and save the changes you would like to make to your account – untick all boxes to unsubscribe completely. Alternatively, click here, enter the email address you are subscribed with, untick your subscriptions and click Save.

I booked a hotel through Travelzoo and need to change or cancel my booking

If the hotel allows cancellations or amendments to dates, please contact them directly. Please check the cancellation and amendment policy carefully before booking a hotel deal, as discounted rates are often non-refundable. You’ll find the policy and contact information in your booking confirmation email.

I booked a deal hotel through Travelzoo but can’t find it in my account

You can’t book hotels directly with Travelzoo Australia. The booking will have been made by a direct link to a hotel or through a booking platform. On completion of your booking you will receive a booking confirmation from the hotel or booking platform directly. This will not show in your account, as it has not been booked with Travelzoo.
If you do not receive a booking confirmation, please contact the hotel directly and they can confirm the reservation and re-issue this to you.

We disclose as much information as we can on the deal page on our website; if the answer you require is not there, we recommend calling the company providing the deal for clarification. You’ll find the contact details on the Travelzoo deal page or on the company’s website. If you think the information we have provided is unclear, or something is missing, please let us know.

What will you do with my credit card and billing information?

We work with CyberSource to process credit card information. CyberSource is owned by Visa International and is one of the largest payment transaction companies on the Internet. Your credit card and billing information is recorded via fully encrypted Secure Socket Layer connection (SSL). This and your other personal information are safe and secure and will only be used for your intended purpose. I would like to update my Postcode to receive travel, entertainment and local deals for my area.

Log into your account, click on the ‘My Subscriptions’ tab and enter your new Postcode in step 2.

How do I update my credit card/ payment information?

To update a credit card you must log into your account and go to the ‘My Payment Methods’ tab, click the grey cross to delete the old card and click ‘Add a New Card’ to enter a new form of payment with the updated information.

I’ve changed my subscription or account preferences. How long will it take for the changes to take effect?

Please wait 48 hours for any changes made to your account to take effect.

I would like to connect or disconnect my Google+ or Facebook profiles from Travelzoo

Travelzoo offers the ability to subscribe and connect with Google+. If you would like to disconnect your Google+ profile from Travelzoo, log into your gmail account. Under Accounts, select Google+ and then click on the “Manage apps & activities” button. Then disconnect the Travelzoo app.

Travelzoo offers the ability to subscribe and connect with Facebook. If you would like to disconnect your Facebook account from Travelzoo, visit and click the "X" next to the Travelzoo application.



Refunds will not be issued for change of mind purchases or expired vouchers. If you have problems redeeming your voucher you must inform Travelzoo before your voucher expires. All requests for refunds must be sent in writing to with the reason for request and supporting documentation, if applicable. I’m having trouble making my booking

For travel deals, please contact the company or agency providing the deal. In the case of local deals where you have purchased a voucher, please ensure you follow all instructions within your voucher. Try contacting the merchant directly and if there is no response, contact Travelzoo for assistance before voucher expiry.

What if the business for my voucher closes down?

In the unlikely event of a business closure, you will be entitled to a full refund if you contact Travelzoo within 14 days of the expiry date of the Voucher. No refunds will be issued after 14 days of the expiry date. Travelzoo serves as an agent in recommending the merchant or local business. Travelzoo makes no warrants and does not accept liability for business failure. Please see our full Terms of Sale.

What happens if my Travelzoo Local Deals voucher expires?

Once the voucher has expired the voucher is void and has no value. You must redeem the Voucher before the expiry date specified on the Voucher. After the expiry date, the Voucher is voided and may no longer be redeemed.

What are Travelzoo Local Deals?

Local Deals alerts you to outstanding deals from top-quality local businesses, including spas, restaurants and activity operators. To book a Local Deal, you buy a voucher from the Merchant on the Travelzoo website. You can then arrange with the Merchant a time to visit their business and enjoy your experience. Does it cost money to join Travelzoo or to receive Local Deals?

Access to all of Travelzoo’s content is free for members. To become a member, you can sign up here or just purchase your first voucher.

I want today’s deal. Now what do I do?

Just click "Add to cart", and enter your credit card details. If you have an account on file, you can purchase with one more click. We’ll charge your card and send you a link to print your deal. Vouchers are stored under "My Vouchers" with a Travelzoo account and can be printed at a later time. The charge will show up on your credit card statement as "TRAVELZOO." If the tipping point is not reached because there is not enough demand for the deal, your card will not be charged, and no voucher will be issued.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept American Express, Master Card and Visa.

Does the Deal have to be used the same day I buy it?

Each Travelzoo Local Deal has a very limited booking window, but a much wider range of dates to use it. Each deal has an expiration date (listed on the deal page before you buy and on the voucher). Most vouchers have a 3 to 6 month expiration date.

What if I want to change or cancel my order?

Travelzoo has a no refund policy. Refunds will not be issued for change of mind purchases and expired vouchers. Please see our Terms of Sale for more details.

I bought this great deal. How do I use it now?

Once you have purchased the deal, an email will be sent to you confirming your purchase. A separate email will be sent for each voucher you purchase. Follow the booking instructions on the voucher to redeem your voucher. Please be aware of the book by date and expiry date on the voucher. Please see our full Terms of Sale.

My credit card was declined. Now what?

Sometimes there is a problem processing your credit card. It could just be a typo, or a number that was incorrectly entered. Our system will also immediately notify you if there’s a problem at the time of purchase. Re-enter your details (check all the fields carefully) and try again. If it still doesn’t work, drop us an email or give us a call.

Can I buy a deal as a gift for someone else?

Yes. You can also print out a Voucher and give it like a traditional certificate or gift card. Unless the fine print specifically states otherwise, feel free to give Travelzoo Local Deals vouchers as gifts. Please be aware that the price of the voucher may be printed on the voucher.

Can you tell me exactly what "fine print" means and why it’s important?

Each deal has unique guidelines, set by the local businesses where you can buy the goods and services. Pay close attention to them before you buy; that’s why we put the fine print up on top, rather than buried in small letters and actual fine print. These little details usually refer to whether or not the entire value of the deal has to be used in one visit, how many deals you are allowed to redeem for yourself, whether or not the deal can be combined with any other offers.

I booked a travel deal that was featured on Travelzoo but am having a problem. Can you help me?

Travelzoo travel deals aren’t booked directly through Travelzoo. Travelzoo doesn’t sell travel like hotel, airline, cruise, rental car or vacation package companies do. A good test is to take a look at the company that actually charged your credit card. If it’s a travel or entertainment company other than Travelzoo, you’ll need to contact them directly. If you see Travelzoo on your statement, then you likely bought one of our Local Deals and we’ll do our very best to help you.
