Begin the tour in Kathmandu where you will enjoy a sightseeing day tour, taking in the main sites and temples of this capital city. Then travel to Pokhara to see some of Nepal’s most beautiful natural attractions including the Mahendra Gufa limestone caves, the Seti River gorge and Phewa Lake via boat.
Early one morning, you’ll be treated to a magnificent view of the sunrise from the World Peace Pagoda perched high on a ridge overlooking the entire city.
This tour also includes a 3-day safari tour in Chitwa National Park where you will see Nepalese wildlife from a 4WD, a canoe and on foot. From there you’ll visit the spiritual village of Lumbini, birthplace of Buddha and important pilgrimage destination. The village is also home to the Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Lumbini Garden and a sacred Ashoka Pillar.
Visit the archaeological site Tilaurkot, where the ancient palace of King Suddodha lies and where Buddha spent his formative years as a Shakya Prince, before making your way back to Kathmandu.
