About the resort: Emma Gorge Resort “is an oasis in the ruggedly beautiful East Kimberley” (Australian Traveller). Situated in El Questro Wilderness Park -- a former cattle station in the Kimberley region stretching across a million acres. The resort is the ideal base for exploring the region, with many activities and guided tours including exploring the park’s 4WD trails, cruising the Chamberlain Gorge, taking one of the guided tours or, for the more adventurous, heli-fishing.
Facilities on-site include a pool, a bar, a lounge area and a restaurant "serving modern Australian with a Kimberley slant" (Australian Traveller). Each Tented Cabin includes a queen size bed and two single beds, an ensuite bathroom. Wi-Fi is available for a surcharge.
Located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, according to Luxury Travel Mag "getting there is part of the adventure" and “requires a flight to Darwin, then on to Kununurra before embarking on a 100-minute 4WD journey”.
