Award-winning luxury tour specialist, Abercrombie & Kent is discounting its ‘Best of Chile and Argentina’ tour by $2400 per person for those able to travel between now and 20 December.

Regularly costing up to $10,970 per person, this private tour is now just $8570 per person, twin share for those who book the Gold Package.

Single travellers will also receive discounted rates when they pay just $13,490 for the same bespoke tour.

Starting in the Chilean capital of Santiago, each itinerary will be customised to reflect the interests and needs of the traveller.

Highlights of the 15-day tour include the markets and wineries of Santiago, the Chilean Lake District and Patagonian wilderness, a visit to the alpine area of Bariloche and the sophisticated metropolis of Buenos Aires.

Those who book will be accompanied by expert guides and receive a personalised ‘welcome pack’ on arrival, as well as assistance with transfers, and the best accommodation available in 4- and 5-star hotels.

You’ll also receive access to sights normally beyond the reach of the ordinary traveller, like the chance to explore El Zanjon, a beautifully restored 19th-century house that is the most important urban archaeological site in Buenos Aires.

Valid for travel until 20 December.

Available until sold out.

Travelzoo tip: A Platinum Package is also available for $11,1400 per person, twin share. These depart on select dates and include accommodation in 5-star hotels.

Awards: In 2013, Abercrombie & Kent was voted ‘World’s Best Luxury Tour Operator’ by the readers of Global Traveler magazine.
