About the tour: Condé Nast Traveller advises Norway is a destination bound to "wow you with its stunning views" and this tour takes in some of its must-see destinations. Beginning in the capital city, Oslo, you'll explore its key attractions (such as the Vigeland Sculpture Park) before travelling to Lillehammer -- host of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games -- and on to the village of Lom where you will visit one of the largest and best-preserved stave churches in Norway, built around 1150.

You'll then travel through Sognefjellet, the highest mountain pass in Northern Europe, spotting glaciers, pine forests, wildlife and Galdhøpiggen, Norway's highest mountain, along the way. Spend the night in the heart of the fjords region before cruising the still waters of Sognefjord and embarking on the world-famous Flam Railway for a mountain train ride into Norway's high, breathtaking glacial regions the following day.

Next, visit Bergen -- surrounded by seven hills and seven fjords, with the Unesco World Heritage–listed Bryggen is its centrepiece, it's a location Lonely Planet raves about, describing it as "one of the world's most beautiful cities". Explore the township before heading back to Oslo where the tour will wind up, passing through more dramatic scenery, lakes and waterfalls en route.
