Located on the edge of the Mary River floodplains, just west of Kakadu National Park, Bamurru Plains is set against a backdrop of one of the most significant ecosystems in Australia.  

The floodplain wetlands are home to some 236 species of bird including thousands of magpie geese, plumed whistling duck, egrets, and ibis, as well as wallabies, wallaroos, crocodiles, wild pigs and buffalo.

Designed to blend with the surrounding bush, the luxury camp focuses on creature comforts without the distractions of too much modern technology.
