Built in 1866, the Borrowdale Hotel retains many original Victorian features and sits at the foot of Shepherd's Crag, 600m from Derwent Water. The hotel is south of Keswick, making it ideal for exploring the Lake District, and is also pet friendly (room dependent).

Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and guests have free use of the leisure facilities at the Borrowdale's nearby sister hotel, the 4-star Lodore Falls.
