British Airways just announced that its first double-decker Airbus A380 -- the world’s largest passenger plane -- will debut on nonstop flights between Los Angeles and London. To celebrate, the airline slashed fares to $830 roundtrip, including taxes and fees, for travel Oct. 15 - Dec. 13 or Jan. 7 - Feb. 28.
This deal cuts more than $300 off current prices. Premium economy and business class fares are also discounted.
British Airways feature complimentary food and bar service, plus a video on-demand system with more than 200 entertainment options.
Note: BA is expected to take delivery of the A380 in July. The date of its first Los Angeles-London flight is not yet set. Flights booked via this deal may be aboard either the A380 or BA's existing planes on this route, the Boeing 747 or 777.
Book by March 13.
