Update (2:15 pm CT, Wednesday, Oct. 7): The sale fares listed below are no longer available.

United reduces the cost of fares to Canada to as little as $119 each way from cities across the U.S. for travel into December. Many of these routes save more than $50 off the typical price.

Flights to Canada have been unusually high lately, but these prices are some of the best in the market right now. Plus, United offers nonstop service on many of its routes, while many carriers only feature flights which require multiple layovers.

Travel is available for daily departures through Dec. 13 -- making this sale perfect for a long weekend in Canada this Thanksgiving holiday.

Here are some sample fares from this Canada sale (each way):

  • Chicago-London, Ontario ... $119
  • Charlotte-Vancouver ... $123
  • Houston-Toronto ... $124
  • Portland, Ore.-Calgary ... $153
  • New York City-Montreal ... $156
  • Washington, D.C.-Ottawa ... $156
  • Kansas City-Winnipeg ... $171

Book by Friday, Oct. 9. Purchase tickets at least 14 days before departure.
