Summer is Europe's busiest travel season, and deals are scarce, especially to the top tourist destinations. But Air France's summer fare sale chops up to $350 off competing fares to many of Europe's hottest spots.

Depart Aug. 11-24 and stay 10-30 days. Midweek fares are the lowest; weekends are $20-$30 more each way. The strongest deals are (roundtrip, including taxes and fees):

Fares from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and other cities are also discounted. June 1 - Aug. 10 departures are typically about $150-$200 higher.

Flights are operated by Air France or its partners Alitalia, Delta Air Lines and KLM. Air France's on-board amenities include 85 on-demand movies, full meal and drink service (including alcoholic beverages) throughout the flight, feather-filled headrests and a travel kit with an eye mask and earplugs.
