Balcony cabins on a Conde Nast Traveler top-rated ship are $500 per person off regular rates -- and include $325 in extras. Seven-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale on Royal Caribbean are (per person):

  • $899: Oct. 5; Nov. 2, 16, 30; Dec. 14 (Oasis); Sept. 8, 22, 29; Oct. 6 (Allure)
